While living in Paris as a teenager, I was taught to sew by a retired Chanel seamstress, using chalk and a measuring tape to create my first designs. This grew into a love for designing with rich, colourful, textured and luxurious fabrics. My creative embroidery studies in Edinburgh, mixed with early memories of growing up in the Scottish borders and family holidays in the highlands can all be found in my designs I am passionate about creating a range of original, handmade and beautiful cushions and throws for your home. My designs reflect Scotland’s rich culture and are inspired by the vibrant colours and gentle hues of Scotland’s unique landscapes. I am very fortunate to live in Scotland. There is an abundance of inspiration in our stunning scenery with rugged coastlines, beautiful lochs, mysterious islands, magnificent hills and rocky mountains. The wonderful Scottish landscape photos on my website were taken by my daughter.

DavidsonDECOR started in 2020 within my cosy kitchen in Scotland. Whilst on maternity leave , I missed having structure and creativity in my day to day life, out with singing, dancing and providing a constant funhouse for baby Alice. Hand Pouring luxury candles provided me with this creative release and you will notice a little TLC in every product. With our versatile collection and bespoke services, DavidsonDECOR are a company that endeavour to provide the best quality products at affordable prices. Sustainability - This can be seen throughout my candlemaking journey. I only use soy wax due to its natural form, it's biodegradable particles, and important for candles, it creates a long-lasting clean burn. Soy wax contains no toxins, pollutants or carcinogens, this wax also tends to last longer than regular paraffin wax. Re-use & Recycle - Each candle is wrapped in a hand printed, repurposed fabric which can be used again as gift wrap, cloth, or keepsake. Along with my unique packaging, my candle containers also create an opportunity to recycle. Once you have finished your candle, why not re-use this empty jar as a potting plant or add some lights for a glowing night-time feature? Whether it’s adding a personal touch with bespoke candles for your business, or creating memories with our wedding favour options, DavidsonDECOR we guarantee to exceed your expectations.
Ice & Fire Distillery was born from our local area and a family of Highland Crofters wanting to try something different to sustain our crofting lives. We all have crofts but the crofting way of life has to be supplemented to survive. What better way to survive than to make spirits from the local water and botanicals which harks back to an era when crofters made illegal whisky on their crofts. We started off with a 5 litre alembic still, moving up to a 10 litre, a 20 litre, a 100 litre and 2 x 200 litre Hoga Stills We have had a great time developing recipes, getting friends and family to taste and give feedback and settled on our first two gin recipes “Caithness Gin” and Crofter’s Tears”, and now Caithness Raiders Rum.
Using the finest, freshest ingredients, Katrina Ashford of Rose Cottage Country Kitchen produces an award-winning range of preserves. The Nairn-based company sources the best local produce - some of which is organic - and uses traditional fruit-packed recipes for its range of jams, jellies, chutneys, marmalades, fruit cheeses and sauces. The products are made in a dedicated ‘jam kitchen’in small batches using open pans to give maximum taste and quality. As well as traditional favourites such as raspberry jam, tomato chutney and Seville orange marmalade, the range includes treats which have been developed exclusively by Katrina. Try crofters’ chutney, hedgerow jelly, or jingle berry jam. No artificial ingredients/GM or cheap fillers are used and all products, except those containing honey, are suitable for vegans. And speaking of honey, Katrina’s husband and son are in charge of the Rose Cottage bees, bringing a selection of pure Nairnshire honey for sale depending on the season. At the end of the year, the award-winning Christmas puddings and cakes are also available.

I am an Artist based in Inverness and known for my quirky functional art and pet portraits painted on wood and slate. I draw my inspiration from my beautiful surroundings, my love for animals and the materials I use, and never restrict myself to a certain style or technique. My creations primarily incorporate recycled materials, free fallen wood, I even use pebbles and rocks and other things that spark my interest. I have come to adore the unique quirks in nature, working to enhance its beauty instead of forcing my own concepts and trying to cover them up. As each piece is handmade everything I have available for sale is absolutely unique.

I've been running "Designs by Inez" now for more than 10 years! Time flies, it really does! Turning a hobby into a business after retiring early. But each year I set out to learn something new and try something that pushes me further or in a different direction! Customers are always asking, " What's new ?" So, I aim to please! I work from home in Coupar Angus, and am constantly delighted and perplexed with what comes out of my kiln, the colours, the combinations, and then of course turning it all into something desirable. I love colour and hope you do too!
After an awful experience with shop bought green tea, I vowed never to touch it again; it was bitterly unpalatable. When visiting China I was handed a cup of the most beautiful nectar. Surely this delicious liquor was not green tea! This prompted me to explore the many amazing natural grown teas on offer, allowing them to unravel their incredible notes on my tastebuds. In 2016 I started my own business to bring a fantastic tea experience to others. Welcome to my world of amazing teas.

At Koha Scotland we hand craft products from recycled Scottish whisky barrels and staves with our designs which are steeped in the history of the aged barrel. We continue to look for new ideas and designs and love it when our customers challenge us with their own unique idea which we get to bring to life. We are excited to be able to offer personalisation on glasses, and the barrels with our new laser engraver for 2021, designs coming soon!

Bright Star Jewellery Scotland was launched in 2020, by Catie Gandhi. Each piece is designed and handmade by Catie in her studio in rural Aberdeenshire. Catie is lucky to have beautiful mountains, forests, rivers, and beaches right on her doorstep, and she loves to look for patterns and textures in nature, using these in her designs. She also incorporates natural objects into her designs such as seeds, seed pods, broken pieces of bark, and shells. Working in precious metals, using traditional silversmithing techniques, Catie loves the idea of being able to preserve some of the beauty of nature in a piece of jewellery, so that it can be enjoyed forever.
